Last night new credit card social club Magnises celebrated it’s DC launch at the Howard Theatre! Originally scheduled guest artist Ja Rule who was “unable to perform at the last moment due to unforeseen circumstances,” was replaced by an amazing “surprise performer in his place,” who turned out to be DC’s own Wale.
The show must go on. Russian Standard Vodka sponsored an open bar until 11:00pm. But the cool new credit company hosted a block party pre-game before the show at the 930 club lot with the Hill Country band, food trucks, and Union Kitchen’s full bar. The first 200 attendees were given a free drink ticket.
With all this free liquor, the socially responsible tech company also teamed up with Uber to offer free rides to new users and entered existing users to win up to a $50 credit.
