So, I’m coming from voting and visiting the Giant to grab a few essentials. I hop in the drivers seat, key in ignition, and crank the radio up; and who do I hear? The infamous Maryland rapper Phil Ade (@PhilAde301). I’ve heard the name thrown around quite a bit since I’ve started this blog and have been hanging out in the Hip-Hop spots around the city, but never gave his music a second thought. I can now say I was a fool. “Toast 2 Life” is a hot track featuring DC singer Kevin Ross, and it’s style totally fits the mood of the day– laid back, chill, and clever. I might be a fan. Give the song a listen and let me know what you think. I believe you’ll love it too.
