“Real women know the game, so what’s good?” sings the sassy party of three in their debut single “It’s Whatever.” Mia, Paije and Jaz, collectively known as XSO (pronounced “X-O,”) are already making waves in the music industry as they just wrapped the nation-wide Code Red Experience tour with Grammy Award winning singer Monica. I caught up with them in Baltimore!

Atlanta-based XSO made a huge splash with recent performances at the Source Magazine 360 weekend and Streets 94.5 BET Hip Hop Awards Celebration. These dolls also premiered the video for their new single “Why Not?”on Fuse TV and MTV Hits not too long ago.

Star-Maker DeVyne Stephens, who discovered Akon, now adds XSO to his UpFront Entertainment roster. Stephens was also instrumental in the development of multi-platinum superstars such as: Usher, Destiny’s Child, TLC, and other acts. He is looking forward to XSO making a huge impact on both the industry and consumer market.

“Its been a long time since we’ve seen a girl group with beauty, swag, a fun vibe and talent like XSO. To me, they’re the female version of BBD (Bell Biv Devoe). I expect the audience to immediately be able to relate to them because they have experienced and tell familiar stories about love, life, and heartbreak through music, but at the same time its all about having fun,” says Stephens.

Jaz echoed this statement saying, “a lot of our songs are things that we went through. You’ll hear a lot about us in our songs.” in our exclusive interview.
