Remembering the Legend Chuck Brown [VIDEO]
Yesterday, word spread quickly that trailblazer Chuck Brown passed. On Twitter, everyone who even had slight influence from the DMV culture paid their respects to the late great legend. Several local radio stations kicked off the celebration by playing Brown’s hits like, “Bustin’ Loose,” “Talkin’ About Money,” and “If It Ain’t Got That Go-Go Swing.” Crowds began to form on 7th and T Streets Northwest, also known as “Chuck Brown Way,” in front of the newly renovated Howard Theater. Gatherers were anything but sad, the mood was festive and joyful– much like the legacy of DC’s own Chuck Brown.
Rest In Peace.
