Did you ever think you’d live to see the day when Snoop Dogg would get Stevie Wonder to sing about weed? Neither did I, but dammit if I’m not grateful to have this amazingly smooth song. Thank you music gods for hearing this unspoken prayer and blessing our ears with “California Roll.”

This epic ass mash-up featuring Stevie Wonder’s harmonica, Pharrell’s vocals and R&G Snoop is exactly what the Summer ordered. As someone who recently got her medical marijuana card in DC (word to Prop 71 and my new “green” physician,) this will be playing when I pull up to the dispensary for the first time.

Check out the visuals featuring leading lady Nia Long and cinematic genius of director Warren Fu, who’s clearly influenced by George Lucas and Disney’s motion simulator Star Tours.

The video’s director told Noisey:

The kind of pop culture thing like when MJ would shut down prime time for his premieres. My initial concept was a spin on Star Tours. It was Pharrell’s idea to make the LA futuristic-Egyptian hybrid, and Snoop’s idea to make the actual ride take place in the ’40s—which then takes them on a journey into the future.
