Lil’ Mo is one busy mama. She’s raising seven children, going through a divorce and filming season 3 of R&B Divas LA. As if that’s not enough, she’s taken on even more work to prove her staying-power in the entertainment industry. In our one-on-one earlier this month, she shared with me her upcoming projects.

Last month Lil’ Mo, whose real name is Cynthia Loving, released tell-all book “Taming Lil’ Mo.” She says she tells all her business in this page-turner from her battle within and two divorces to falling out with Ja Rule to suicidal attempts. Mo says she’s looking for healing for herself, and hopes to help someone else find their own healing.

October 27th, the soulful Lil’ Mo will release her fifth studio album The Scarlet Letter. This EP totes 10 fresh songs, all of which were recorded during season 2 of R&B Divas LA. We saw her breakdown and pull-through an emotional performance of “Just Not That Into You.” Her current single, “Should’ve Never Let You Go” is a ballad and takes us back to original Lil’ Mo.

I’m not sure what happened with this one, but Lil Mo also shared that she’s starring in her first acting role. “Who Can I Run To,” is a BET original movie that was set to be released October 14th. The cast includes Marvin Sapp, Jessica Reedy, Tasha Page Lockhart, and Nickelodeon kid-star Kel Mitchell. The storyline sounds entertaining enough, but I haven’t heard any more about it. Hopefully the final product will surface soon.

In the meantime, check out my one-on-one with the Superwoman here.
