Kunta’s Culture Explored Fashion, Music and Art with Rapsody [VIDEO]

Sunday, Suite Nation’s Ian Callender and Rock Creek social gathered together DC’s top tastemakers and influencers to contribute to a fly event called Kunta’s Culture featuring national recording artist Rapsody.

The event, sponsored by [amazon_textlink asin=’B000B2LQ7S’ text=’Reebok’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’bobbypen-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’ed481e86-0c55-11e8-a006-2bb85166d176′] and Hennessy, merged together art, music, and dining to showcase amazing installation art and musical performances inspired by Kendrick Lamar. Featured artists include @_reskit // @somewearmasks // @junctionxxi // @rob_zilla_iii.

To Pimp a Butterfly feature, Rapsody, was present and Washington Wizard’s host Rodney Rikai interviewed her on the spot asking her about what she thinks her verse on “Complexion” did for the album, bodying Kendrick and other male rappers and her North Carolina roots.
