New music from soul singer Chrisette Michele. Her first album I am released back in 2007 secured Michele a spot in our hearts and iPods for years to come as a neo-soul artist. However, with the last album Epiphany (2009) and being featured on songs of artists like Rick Ross, Jay-Z and Nas, “Epiphany Girl” served notice that she will not be locked in a box. She has a few pop tracks. Her latest, “I’m A Star” is an inspiring story of her coming into own and believing in herself. She encourages listeners to shine in the sky and “do them.”
