Last night young fashion starlets Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn were spotted at the 2015 Billboard awards wearing H&M’s latest designer house mashup with Balmain.  Today, the consumer fashion brand released this official image and video teaser to announce the November 2015 collection launch.

H&M has been collaborating with high end designers since 2004 with Karl Lagerfeld to bring high fashion to the everyday fashionista. Other notable fashion houses include Stella McCartney (2005), Roberto Cavalli (2007), Comme des Garcons (2008), Jimmy Choo (2009), Versace (2011-2012), and Alexander Wang last fall.

#HMBalmaination, being pushed as more than a collection, but rather a movement, incorporates social media and “togetherness.”

In a press release, fashion designer Olivier Rousteing (pictured above) said:

I want to talk to my generation: this is my main purpose as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain, getting a piece of the dream and creating a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fueled on a hashtag. The collaboration felt extremely natural to me because everybody can connect with the H&M brand. It calls for unity, and I am all for it Olivier Rousteing

I love Kendall’s look a little more than Jourdan’s. I can see the high end aesthetic of the blazer blouse paire with the slouch suede knee-high boot, but Jourdan’s look can easily read ‘”cheap” if mixed and matched. I’m looking forward to the collection nonetheless.

What do you think of these looks? Will you be copping up?
