Flawless Fall Skin : My 30-Day Skincare Challenge Results

So, It’s been 8 days since my skincare challenge has come to a close. I have learned so much about my skin and better appreciate what a proper skincare regime can do in a 30-day time period. This is the part where I would normally do a breakdown on each product. However, I feel that after my regimen update 10-days in has helped me to see and achieve my skin goals. Those goals one more time are:

  • brighter skin
  • fade dark spots from acne scars
  • prevent future breakouts
  • promote healthy skin growth
  • prevent signs of aging

In comparison to my day one pictures taken back on August 1st, my skin is brighter and more even overall. Many of the dark spots that were prominent in my day one photos have significantly faded over the course of 30-days. I’m just in love with my skin. I even feel more confident and don’t rely so much on concealers or foundations to even my tone or complexion any longer. Products to thank for these results: Peter Thomas Roth Anti Aging Cleanser and Dr. Dennis Gross Clinical Concentrate Radiance Booster.

Most of this summer I was battling dry patches around my eyes and hairline. After this skincare challenge however, these worries are now a thing of the past. I see the greatest change around my eyes where the patches were most prominent. I know the glycolic acid in my cleanser helped to resurface the skin and helped with overall smoothness. The toner from Carol’s Daughter Acai Exfoliating Toner helped to smooth and resurface the skin as well. To help aid in the skin hydration process the Dr. Dennis Gross Clinical Concentrate Hydration Booster helped to seal and lock in moisture on the dermis level to promote healthy and hydrated skin growth.

My oily skin now seems to be under control. Before this challenge, by 1:00p I was already dabbing excess oil off my cheeks and forehead. I no longer worry about such issues. The Dr. Dennis Gross Clinical Concentrate Purifying Booster and Carol’s Daughter Acai Exfoliating Toner helped to minimize my pores and control oil production on my skin in my problem areas.

Overall, I would like to conclude this skincare challenge was a success. Over the course of this challenge I did not experience one breakout. My skin appears to be much smoother, my complexion appears to be more even, and I’m no longer producing enough oil on my skin to fry chicken.

This mini skincare boot camp is just what my skin needed for a flawless complexion this fall. Hey, this may even become my new quarterly routine. Did you take a skincare challenge of your own? Share your successes or challenges below and as always stay priceless penpalz!
