What is The Hip Hop Caucus?

thealbumHOME for TheBobbyPen.comThe Hip Hop Caucus has been aligned with the environmental movement since 2005, working on the ground in the Gulf Coast and in Washington DC to fight for a fair and just response to the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. No moment has so clearly shown the world who suffers first and worst – the poor and people of color – from the devastation of natural disasters caused by extreme weather patterns, which are increasing because of global warming.

The Plea

The problem is only going to get worse unless we come together to make big change. There are solutions to climate change, and they involve transitioning our world to clean energy sources. Our challenge is not the technology or know-how, our challenge is creating the public will to change.

We all share a home and we only have one of them.   The album HOME is a forthcoming project, created by Hip Hop Caucus, in partnership with The Private Plane.

Keep up with The Hip Hop Caucus
