Dash app

Tell me how many times you’ve forgotten to close your bar tab….

You’re out after work with friends for a bite to eat and drinks, and it’s time to pay the bill. Everyone has cards. You’ve got to ask the server for separate bills, and it seems like he just can’t get it right. We’ve all been there.

Different scenario: you’re at the bar and you’ve gotta go, but the bartender is at the other end of the bar making drinks. Well, typically you’ve got to wait to close your tab to leave, but not any moe. There’s this saying that I love nowadays and it’s, “There’s an app for that!”

The Dash app allows you to pay your bill from your phone.  Now before you say well that’s not all that fancy, this app makes dining out in our digital world much easier and convenient.  Once you’ve told your server that you want Pay with Dash, you can access your bill in real time so you know how much that bill is going to be and not the fun discussion of who ordered the $25 appetizer when the final check comes.

How many ways…can we split this bill?

Not only can you pay your bill thanks to the Bill Split feature, you can split the bill too.  So if you are out with a group of friends and you all want to split the tab you can.  Simply invite them to the tab and voila, bill split no fussing about someone not paying their part.

There is also a function that helps you find different places to eat based on what type of mood or vibe you want to be around.  The Venue Vibes feature categorizes the restaurants by Lively, Active, Relaxed, and Quiet.  You can pick the type of scenery you want to be in so you don’t end up going for the food and leaving because of the crowd or lack there of.

Need food..will travel

You can even request an Uber from within the Dash app.  So no worries about how to get to where you’re trying to eat and of course if you’ve had a few too many, then getting an Uber is a the best option. You can also see the menu for the places before you go!

The app has already launched in New York and Chicago and is launching in DC.  It includes restuarants such as Capitol City Brewery, Jake’s Boiler Room, Johnny’s Half Shell,  Nellie’s Sports Bar, Southern Hospitality, as well as a few others and hopefully more will be added before the summer season arrives. So if your favorite restaurant isn’t on there yet, hopefully it will be soon, and you could also use this as an opportunity to try out some new spots that you haven’t been to yet.  The app is available for iOS and Android. So go, grab a few friends, eat and pay with Dash!
