Chrissy Monroe talks Erica Mena, Modeling Agency and Love & Hip Hop New York

Chrissy_Monroe_Erica_Mena_thebobbypenVH1’s Love & Hip Hop New York is back in its fifth season. Newcomer Chrissy Monroe, girlfriend of Producer Chink Santana, brings all the boss and bite to the cast.

In episode one we see her make a huge first impression when Rich Dollaz invites her to help cast models for his new liquor campaign based on her professional expertise. Because of that inside knowledge, she creates just one more instabeef with castmate Erica Mena.

Monroe  sat down with Bobby Pen in an intimate conversation at DC’s swanky Asian-infused lounge iChing. She opened up about her own checkered past. From spending so much time in “the game,” from exotic dancing and fast money to self-educating and developing self-reliance, she’s evolved from the young Italian girl who grew up in Baltimore.

She also explained why she wanted to call out Erica Mena and expose her life as an escort on the show. “Maybe it’s time for the bully to get bullied,” she said. Monroe addresses the alligations surrounding their growing rivalry. Chrissy also broke down how Love and Hip Hop is helping her further her other professional pursuits.
