Taking to Social Media to out Cash Money Records. Where have we seen that scene before?

Rapper Bow Wow, who’s now going by his birth name Shad Moss, took to Instagram this weekend to let the world know Baby’s been holding back his music career and he’s had enough.

Bow Wow– I mean Shad, posted these videos saying how he’d record so much music and find himself the only one to have ever heard it. He said by the time the label is ready to push out his songs they’re old to him.

Well, not to worry. The young pup found home again with “uncle” Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri. The very two guys who gave the 12-year-old phenom his start. (Remember Big Mama’s House Soundtrack? Love at first bark.)

Bow Wow, despite an abrupt departure from BET’s 106 & Park, has landed on his feet and is actually doing quite well. He’s on the current season of CSI: Cyber. And his bio on CBS’ website says he’s gearing up for “his new album, Underrated, due out later this year. Hmmm…

Anyway, he wished his fiance Erica Mena a Happy Mother’s Day, on social media so I guess they’re still going strong too.

Good for you, Bow Wow.
