Beyonce, Oprah and Michelle Obama Listed as Forbes ‘100 Most Powerful Women’

Forbes published its list of the world’s most powerful women of 2015 and Michelle Obama (no. 10,) Oprah Winfrey (no. 12) and Beyoncé Knowles (no. 21) topped the list including other entertainers, policymakers, businesswomen and philanthropists. Those who made the list were judged on their influence and impact.

Other notable figures include Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (no. 2,) Art Director for Conde Nast Ana Wintour (no. 28,) Queen Elizabeth II (no. 41,) talk show host Ellen DeGeneres (no. 50,) actress Angelina Jolie (no. 54,) actress Sofia Vergara (no. 57) and Taylor Swift at no. 64.

Also noted is Folorunsho Alakija, Africa’s wealthiest, self-made billionaire and the richest woman in the world, is listed at no. 74.
